Winterburst is a french Black/Death Symphonic Metal band. Founded on the ashes of a previous aborted Metal project, Winterburst is created in June 2009 with the recruitment of Vorender as the vocalist. After some good rehearsals, they decided to enter in studios in December 2009 in order to record a Demo CD composed by 6 tracks. These songs talk about the history, the mythology, and the deep feelings of rage mixed with despair, all often handled in an allegorical way. One of the strengths of Winterburst lies in the variety of the musical influences of each of its members. However the backgrounds of the compositions result from Kyll’s guitar riffs associated to melodies and atmospheres created by Terias, this set being able to cross fast tempos typical of Black Metal in atmospheric or disturbing passages. In a constant perspective of evolution, Winterburst will have in heart to conquer its audience, owing to new songs always more powerful and marked by sincerity. Since December 2010, Winterburst has begun the writing of his first full-lenght album.
