Candy Ass is everything rock n' roll is supposed to be. Searing guitars, earth-shattering drums, bass pounding in your heart and three part harmonies that sound like a fun girly party or haunting angels. The songs are so catchy they get played in your consciousness on repeat. You find yourself acting out songs in your mind, wishing the fantasy life were your own. The live show is a party filled with sex, fashion, laughs, positive messages, spontaneity, wild girls and pure hard pop. These chicks play their instruments better then the boys and they ain't whining about their sucky childhood's or broken hearts. Instead these rock vixens are teaching you how to kick ass, break hearts, rock out, be proud, dress cool, get fucked and look good doin' it all!

The band formed in New York City's Lower East Side in the fall of 1998. Candy Ass immediately stood out as something different, unforgettable, un-ignorable, inimitable. In their first year, Candy Ass shook, wiggled and giggled their way onto Howard Stern, hosted an episode of MTV's Rocks Off and stole the show in Metallica's Whiskey In A Jar music video. Over the next two years Candy Ass toured regionally, hitting every legendary club from CBGB's to the El Mocambo to The Troubador. The Candy cuties put out their first EP on RAFR records; an even earlier demo was pressed into pink vinyl and released as a 45 on Outlaw Recordings. The Candy girls were reviewed and interviewed by every rock and punk zine across the globe as well as splashy pictorials in rags such as Paper, Nylon and Interview.

The rock n' roll fantasy became realized in 2002. Pink saw Candy Ass grace the stage of a notorious Hollywood rock staple and fell in love. Candy Ass toured the nation as Pink's direct support on her 38 city Party tour. For the Party tour, Candy Ass released a limited edition live recording, Liplockin' Live on RAFR. The girls won over millions of new fans across the country that had never heard or seen anything like Candy Ass. The piles of fan mail overwhelmingly read as pledges of devotion and true love; and they all say, "You Kick Ass!!!" America fell head over heels for the undeniable, irresistible, infectious Candy Ass!
