1994.
They recorded only one demo-tape with four songs.
Enrico Teodorani, bass player and singer, was the leader of the band and wrote all the songs, as he did in his previous band, the Vets. Later Teodorani mentioned (directly or indirectly) Metallo Pe(n)sante in several of his comic stories.
Francesca Paolucci, self-taught saxophonist, wore a vampire costume with a cloak during concerts and danced on stage when she wasn't playing her sax parts. Due to the strict religious upbringing imparted by her family and the Catholic schools she attended, she was initially uncomfortable with the satanic references contained in the band's lyrics and iconography.
Mike Vignali, in addition to being the guitar player of Metallo Pe(n)sante, in those years also became one of Teodorani's first and most assiduous collaborators in the field of comics, often inking his drawings. Live he has occasionally been replaced by other guitarists.
Federico "Sasso" Sassoli, drummer, was also the one who drove the van (passed to him by his father) with which the band moved to the concerts. He died in a tragic car accident towards the end of 1994 and this was one of the main reasons that led to the decision to dissolve the band.
