Can anyone recommend some really good under-rated/unknown Black Metal bands? I recently found a number of them in a great little second hand record store, so was looking for more

As for me, Nokturnal Mortum and Astrofaes, are pretty well known bands!
I'd recommend you these bands: Tsjuder, Odal, Shining, Watain, Mork Gryning, Tulus, Elite, Horn, Kroda, Drudkh, Dub Buk, Blood Of Kingu, Hate Forest, Tini Zbutykh Predkiv, Pagan Land, Lucifugum, Profane Solitude, Kurgan, Dammerung, Moravska Zima, i think iy would be enough. If you will like some of these bands, write me here please, what are the bands.

Sorry, Kvist is a well known Black Metal band from Norway although they made Out only a single and excellent album in 1996.

Guitarist Trondr Nefas now plays in Urgehal.
